FREE Medicare Seminar

The date of the seminar has been changed to Thursday, October 1.
 
Join us from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, downstairs in the Town Center, to learn about what’s new with Medicare for 2027.
 
The Medicare open enrollment period for current beneficiaries is October 15 – December 7, 2026, with changes becoming effective Jan. 1, 2027.
 
During this seminar you’ll get tips for comparing your current plan to other options that may offer you better coverage and save you some money. 
 
The seminar will be led by RiverWalk resident Ellen Downey, a volunteer Medicare counselor with SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders), a program of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs.

Blood Drive
Sunday, October 4th, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Town Center East Parking Lot

OneBlood will be at RiverWalk on Sunday, October 4, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the East Town Center parking lot.
 
Donors will receive a $20 eGift Card and an umbrella. Additionally, participants will get a wellness checkup that includes assessments for blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse, and cholesterol screening.

Car Show
Monday, October 5th, 5:00 - 8:00 PM at In front of Centanni Cafe
 
 
 
 
 
 
On Monday, October 5 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, there will be a car show in front of Centanni Café, starting at 5:00 PM. Weather permitting.
 
If you would like to participate and show off your ride, please arrive by 5:00 PM.
