Description: | The first ever RiverWalk dog show,” Who Let the Dogs Out,” will be held on Sunday, March 5th, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm in conjunction with Barky Pines Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. This event will take place behind Town Center. Sign up in the office by March 2nd to receive forms and waiver. There is a maximum of 30 dogs to register for this event.
There will be a parade of all entries past the judges and the audience followed by two contests: costume and musical chairs (dog-trick style.) Then another parade after which winners in lots of fun and unique categories will be announced. All entries will receive prizes and treat bags.
Check in begins at 10:30 am on the day of the event. All entries must bring their completed forms along with up-to-date vaccination paperwork. (Rabies required for all dogs over 16 weeks. Distemper, Parvo, and Parainfluenza required for puppies under 16 weeks.)
Residents and their canine friends are invited to attend and watch the festivities and enjoy the various participating vendors. All dogs must be leashed to their humans. No aggressive dogs or female dogs in heat are permitted to attend.
Barky Pines Animal Rescue and Sanctuary will have adoptable dogs available the day of the event. Donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated! Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a non-profit rescue 503(c)(3) in Loxahatchee, saving dogs and animals for Palm Beach County.
